Grant Modified Vesting File

The Grant Modified Vesting File (files with extension mv.csv) contains information related to the modified vesting schedule for a grant.

Insertions and Modifications

Upload file can contain both new records, and updates to existing records.
A row is uniquely identified by a combination of the Grant ID and Modification Date.

Through the Grant Modified Vesting File, users will always upload the modified vesting schedule for a specific grant. If there is more than one record in the Grant Modified Vesting File with the same Grant ID and Modification date, the system will assume that the last record is supposed to update the previous record(s).  The previous record(s) will be lost and no validation error will be reported.


Deletions

To delete all modified vesting activity associated with a grant, the user will add a record into an uploadable Grant Modified Vesting file that contains only the Grant ID.  Deletion records can be in the same file as insert and update records. Note only a single vesting delete row is needed to delete all the vesting rows for the grant.

An example of valid lines in a vesting file is as follows (note the extra comma used to identify the missing optional Option Value field in the third example):
