Effective Date Schedule File
Previous Top Next

The Effective Date Schedule File  (files with extension sd.csv) contains information related to an individual MPA or Liability grants to track perfomance schedules over time. The data identifies each Grant ID, Tranche ID, Effective Date, Instruments Multiplier, EPS Market Multiplier, EPS Performance Multiplier, Fair Value, Exercise price and Service Period End Date.

The Effective Date Schedule file is used to specify Tranche level values of fields used to perform certain computations for Market and Performance Awards.  These values can vary by an effective date at the Tranche level. The file can also be used to input values for Liability and Non-Employee awards which are marked to market periodically.

An Effective Date Schedule record can be sent to change only one value at a particular effective date, in which case, other values would be applied from other effective dates as applicable.  Null values must be provided for subsequent effective dates to leave prior values in effect.
This is a Specific Assignment or a Reusable Effective Date Schedule at the Tranche level.  There may also be Tranche specific Effective Date Schedule lines attached to the Tranche.

Insertions and Modifications
Upload file can contain both new records, and updates to existing records.
A row is uniquely identified by a combination of the Grant ID, TrancheID and Effective Date.

If there is more than one record in the Effective Date Schedule file with the same Grant ID, Tranche ID and Effective Date the system will assume that the last record is supposed to update the previous record(s).  The previous record(s) will be lost and no validation error will be reported.

Deletions
To delete a single Effect Date Schedule Line, you can add a record in an acceptable .CSV file format that contains only the Grant ID, Tranche ID and Effective Date.

To delete all Effective Date Schedule Records for a Tranche, a single record which only includes the GrantID and TrancheID should be sent.

Deletion records can be in the same file as insertion and modification records.
