Reports Manager

The Reports Manager provides the ability to view the status of any report submitted and to delete or download a report.  The Reports Manager is displayed at the bottom of all report pages and displays all reports submitted (within the 10 day retention period).

The user may sort the contents of the Report Manager by name in ascending or descending order by clicking on any column header.  The default sort order is annotated by a downward arrow to the right of the column header.

Report Name: This column initially displays the system generated file name of the report and has the following components:
Report Type_date_maingroup_uniqueidentifier.zip
report type - refer to the report type table listed below
date - yyyy-mm-dd format; the date the report was created
uniqueidentifier - four digit incrementing number specific to the user account; 1-9999
zip - indicates that the report file is a ZIP file type

To change the name of the file to something more meaningful:
1.  Click the Rename Icon located to the right of the filename.
2.  The file name is highlighted and the Save and Cancel Icons are displayed.
3.  Enter a new name and click the Save Icon. The new name is displayed and the Rename Icon is displayed (the Save and Cancel Icons are no longer visible).


Report Type: This column displays the type of report.  The description displayed is reflected in the following table under the ‘Display Report Type’ column.  The column ‘Used in Filename’ is used as part of the FileName.

Date Created: This column displays the date and time the report request completed.

Scheduled Deletion Date: This column displays a date the report will be deleted. Reports are automatically deleted 45 days after their creation date, as reflected in the Scheduled Deletion Date. This date is highlighted in red for those reports approaching their scheduled deletion date.

Action/Status: This column displays a status of the report or shows links that you may execute.

A report may have the following status:
Pending – the request has been submitted, but not yet complete.
Error – the request has been submitted, but due to an error never completed.
Completed – if a report completed successfully, the action/status shows the Download and Delete buttons.

A user may perform the following actions:
Delete –  is available for a report that has ended in an error or for successful reports. 
Download – is available for successful reports only.  This allows the user to download the report to a Zip file.
